GXO wins Kellogg contract

GXO Logistics has announced today that it has signed an agreement to extend and expand its partnership with Kellogg.

The renewed agreement includes solutions in the UK, Spain, Germany, and Poland, as well as a new facility in Belgium.

As part of the new agreement, GXO has implemented its Reflex web WMS at sites in Spain and the U.K. and will implement the same in Belgium. In addition, GXO is working with Kellogg to develop digital reporting metrics to further improve operational and service performance visibility and enable greater data-driven decision-making.

Richard Cawston, President, Europe for GXO said: “We will continue to make strategic investments in automation and apply our industry-leading experience and expertise to help Kellogg optimize its production support, warehousing, delivery execution and co-packing activities.”

The two companies have decided to expand their contract to reduce costs while improving efficiency, and their investments in this contract include technology investments, knowledge-sharing, as well as general process improvements.

GXO will lead operations for Kellogg in a 650,000 ft² facility in Mechelen, Belgium.
