InPost partners with eBay to boost last mile delivery services form customers
Out-of-home and e-commerce delivery company InPost, has partnered with online retail giant eBay to expand last mile delivery pick-up options for customers.
InPost is expanding its services to the C2C market, after growing online sales lead to a demand for more flexible delivery options.
eBay marketplace sellers will now have access to InPost’s 2,500 parcel lockers for the first time, enabling them to drop off parcels at lockers for onward delivery to buyers’ homes. The partnership came about after a demand from customers buying goods early amid supply chain shortages.
Available 24/7, and positioned in locations such as, train stations, petrol forecourts, and grocery stores including Tesco, Morrisons, and Lidl, lockers give both the seller and the buyer more flexibility around when they drop off or pick up products. 250 InPost Lockers across the UK will be co-branded with eBay, to celebrate the partnership.
