IntraLogisteX showcases size optimisation technologies
Over the last few days there has been widespread furore about excess packaging for products that have been ordered online. Exhibitors at IntraLogisteX 2016, including award winning packaging systems company Linkx, will showcase size optimisation technologies that are designed to tackle excess packaging.
Linkx’s Box Sizer, which won 2015 IntraLogisteX awards for both Packaging, and Warehouse Infrastructure and Services, is a machine that ‘provides the solution to the problem of shipping fresh air’. The machine reduces the outer box of a package, bringing it down to the size of the product or goods being shipped – minimising the need for any additional packaging filler. Other packaging exhibitors in 2016 include:
