All 50 businesses in this year’s Top 50 have a combined turnover of £34.7 billion.

Average year-on-year growth is 14.9%. None of our first 15 have crossed this threshold, however, although all have posted positive growth in what has been one of the most challenging periods for the sector as a whole.

Average pre-tax profit were £36.5 million – while average profit margin is 3.73%.
