Mega shed scheme for Nottinghamshire

Planning permission for a 2.5 million sq ft logistics park next to the A1 has been given the go-ahead in Nottinghamshire.

Mulberry Commercial Developments has secured planning for the scheme from Bassetlaw Council. Mulberry Logistics Park can accommodate units ranging from 100,000 sq ft to 800,000 sq ft, providing an inward investment opportunity for large format occupiers looking for new premises.

Dan Mitchell, planning partner at Barton Willmore, said: “As well as economic growth and the creation of thousands of new local job opportunities, the larger warehouse units in Harworth will give their occupiers much greater flexibility in their day-to-day operations with the added bonus of being located close to air, sea, rail links and of course the motorway network via the A1.”

Mulberry Developments has delivered over five million sq ft across a broad range of the commercial sector, but with a focus on industrial and logistics.

Barton Willmore provided planning, environmental planning and landscape planning for the scheme. M1 Agency are the letting agents.
