MiX Telematics wins major 3PL contract

MiX Telematics has signed a three a three-year deal with a major third party logistics provider in one of the largest telematics undertakings to day.

The contract will see MiX’s fleet solution and accessories installed across 1,800 vehicles in the Wincanton fleet. The solution includes MiX’s camera solution, MiX Vision, and MiX DriveMate, an in-cab driving aid.

To further promote driver engagement, all drivers will be provided with access to MyMiX, a mobile app which allows drivers to view their own performance data and compare it with that of their colleagues.

Remote tachograph downloading will further enhance safety in operation while helping to ensure ongoing compliance throughout the fleet.

MiX Telematics sales director Richard Adams said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this major contract, which follows an extensive tendering process and a demanding six-month trial.”
