New logistics scheme for East Anglia

Work has commenced on a Haverhill industrial development being brought forward by Trebor Developments and its partner Hillwood.

“The Ridge” on Haverhill Business Park is a five multi-unit scheme.

McCoy Contractors has been appointed as specialist groundworks contractor and will be on site until March 2020, followed by the main contractor, A&H Construction, which will implement the industrial units.

Trebor and Hillwood are investing more than £30 million in the site.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner of Trebor Developments, on behalf of the partners, said: “The Ridge is a very significant investment in the eastern area, which we believe will attract a wide range of local occupiers to this premier location, which already hosts Culina Logistics and MKM Building Supplies.

“The units will be the only quality new build industrial of their sizes within a 50 mile radius of Haverhill and offered at a considerable discount to rents in the Cambridge market.”

Units will be available for occupation from the third quarter of 2020.
