The state-of-the-art facilities are tailor-made for McGregor’s activities, which includes heavy and palletised haulage and palletised storage, and is already home to a number of high profile clients from the automotive and gardening industries. The premises includes a host of energy efficient features including rain water harvesting facilities and multiple electric car charging points.

Katy Riley, operations director for McGregor Logistics, said: “This new site is a significant investment for us which will create fantastic opportunities and allow us to meet the heavy demands of the industry and move even more pallets around the region. We have had really positive responses from our clients and these enhanced facilities are sure to open up even more opportunities for us and our customers.”

More than 60 employees work at the depot, collectively moving in excess of 800 pallets a day. The depot can accommodate McGregor’s growing fleet of 89 vehicles, boasting 38 loading bays and four roller access shutter doors, with capacity to store more than 44,000 pallets.

McGregor Logistics is one of over 120 depots that are part of the Palletways UK network, belonging to Imperial, a DP World company.
