NYK Netherlands achieves AEO and ISO-28000 accreditation
NYK Logistics (Nederland) was recently awarded two internationally recognised security standards for companies operating within the supply chain: ISO-28000 accreditation and Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status. ISO-28000 confirms that NYK has an adequate management system in place for the provision of a secure integrated logistics service covering warehousing, freight forwarding and customs clearance, and also helps companies maintain a consistent approach towards security risk management. AEO is the equivalent of the US Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), the supply chain security system led by US Customs & Border Protection. NYK has been awarded the full certificate, which means that the company is certified for security, safety and customs specifications and may fast-track its consignments through customs control. |
