Parcel company DPD Austria celebrates its 30 years anniversary

Founded in 1988 as the first private parcel service operating as APS Austria Paket System, DPD relies on the logistics infrastructure of its shareholders – Austria’s leading forwarding companies Gebrüder Weiss, Lagermax and Schachinger. Around 1,700 employees with a total of 1,000 vehicles are working around the clock enabling the parcels to arrive at their destination as quickly as possible.

Every day, 14,000 Austrian companies profited from maximum flexibility for their parcels and could always rely on the highest service and quality standards. This helps to set standards in national and international parcel shipping, is the credo of DPD Direct Parcel Distribution Austria GmbH, headquartered in Leopoldsdorf near Vienna.
