The application is for two units of 77,000ft2 and 128,000ft2 on Suffolk Park’s final northern plot and the developer will decide in due course whether to speculatively develop the units or wait for a pre-sale, pre-let before commencing development.

Ben Oughton, development director at Jaynic, said: “Such has been the demand for warehouses in the region and because of the success we have had at Suffolk Park we have decided to move forward now in finalising the planning situation at the park.”

Development is already underway on SP160, and SP47 – 160,000ft2 and 47,000ft2 units, respectively, both of which will be ready for occupation before the end of 2022 and SP47 has been sold to Dellonda, which is part of Bury St Edmunds-based Sealey Group.

Mark Sweetman of Dellonda Ltd, said: “Our rapid growth has meant that we needed additional space ahead of other facilities that we are currently developing at Suffolk Park and SP47 is completing just at the right time.”
