Port of Dover Cargo partners with Duferco

Duferco has become one of the latest customers of Port of Dover Cargo’s new facility.

Importing Rebar breakbulk cargo into Dover, the SVS Vega import vessel will be Duferco’s debut call at the Port on the 29th October.

Barbara Buczek, CCO at the Port of Dover said: “Our new Terminal has recently become operational, and I’m delighted that we are already starting to see the incredible opportunities it is bringing to the business.

The upcoming debut call from Duferco will not only showcase a new partnership with such a highly established trader, but also see our new facilities handle Rebar steel for the first time.”

Mark Varney, director of Duferco UK said: ”The steel market like many others is a challenging one and we need strong partnerships at the ports that we bring our vessels into to ensure good service and continuity of supply to our trading partners.”
