Potter Group invest £25m in rebranded business

The Potter Group is to invest £25 million over the next five years and rebrand as Potter Space to reflect its business of owning, developing and operating commercial business parks across the UK.

“We made the strategic decision to sell the logistics operation so that we could concentrate all our efforts on developing the business parks,” said executive chairman, Derrick Potter.

Potter Space has business parks in in Ripon, Knowsley, Droitwich, Ely and Selby, comprising of over 250 acres and in excess of 1.6m square feet of commercial space.

As part of the £25m investment, Potter has pre-let a speculative 25,000 square foot unit on its A1M50 Industrial and Distribution Park near Ripon, which is a 10-acre extension to its already successful 42-acre Melmerby Industrial Estate. And work has begun on another 25,000 square foot unit.
