Q-commerce company Getir snaps up Slough depot

Ultra-fast grocery delivery company Getir, is taking a 2,500ft2 warehouse depot at SEGRO’s Slough Trading Estate as part of its expansion plans in the UK.

Getir has secured a five year lease on the unit which will be used as a fulfilment centre, enabling the company to reach customers and deliver orders in the Slough area.

Earlier this year, Getir signed a five-year lease for a 3,000ft2 space at SEGRO Park Acton – a popular location due its location within the West London market.

In the UK, Getir has created over 2,000 permanent jobs, all paid above the living wage, which will increase to more than 3,000 by the end of 2021 and an estimated 10,000 by the end of 2022.

Letting agents were JLL and Cushman & Wakefield.
