Rhenus Logistics Austria: daily links to Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland

New high frequency service by Rhenus Logistics Austria serves four countries in Central Europe

A new product to handle general cargo consignments and part truck loads with destinations in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland has been added to the portfolio of Rhenus Logistics Austria. It is a service providing daily departures. The point of departure for the truck trips is the logistics facility in Groß Enzersdorf near Vienna. They serve the following stations: Trebatice (Slovakia), Brno and Ostrava in the Czech Republic and Olkysz in southern Poland. All destinations offer direct connections to national distribution networks.

Rhenus Logistics Austria was formed in 2005 through the Rhenus AG’s takeover of the Röhrer Logistics company. The main pillar of the enterprise covers general cargo, part and full load transportations to eastern/southeastern Europe and a contract logistics segment, which is based on the terminal complex with more than 10,500 pallet slots in Groß Enzersdorf. The business units for documents and media logistics are designed to complete the core operations and are currently in development. Rhenus Logistics GmbH is a part of the Freight Logistics division of Rhenus AG. The company has 46 employees. The management lies in the hands of Mr. Leopold Foll.
