Roos Spedition acquired by the Trawöger Group

On July 1st, 2017, Rupert Trawöger (Trawöger Group in A-4655 Vorchdorf) and Jürgen Lugstein acquired Roos Spedition GmbH in Malscher Str. 19 in DE-76448 Durmersheim, near Karlsruhe. The previous owner, Helmut Unser, is convinced that this is a solution to ensure the continued operation of this company and optimal succession.

The management board and all employees will stay in the company in order to ensure a continuous transition. The previous managing directors, Helmut Unser and Raphaelle Cuart-Unser, will continue to support the company’s operations. As of July 1st, 2017 Rupert Trawöger and Jürgen Lugstein were appointed as managing directors of Roos Spedition GmbH. The latter will act as managing director in operational tasks. Recently, the Roos Spedition achieved a turnover of around EUR 50 million with 450 employees.

With more than 1,000 tractors and trailers, the Trawöger Group has offered its customers transport services across Europe for packaged goods, with England as a major destination. The acquisition of the Roos Group adds more than 500 units for liquid chemicals to the fleet, which is expected to open access to new market segments and create synergy effects.
