Siemens digital logistics and LOCOM merge
Siemens Digital Logistics and LOCOM Software and LOCOM Consulting have merged and are now operating under the brand name Siemens Digital Logistics as of December 14, 2018.
The merger enables the company to become leading providers of innovative consulting services in the logistics sector, aiming to shape the future of the logistics industry with progressive ideas.
Customers will benefit from a new strategically expanded solution portfolio featuring comprehensive, end-to-end coverage of the complete supply chain.
The managing directors of the new firm are Holger Schmitt, Christopher Christian and the former CEO of LOCOM, Christian Schmidt.
LOCOM’s Frankenthal and Karlsruhe, Germany and Wroclaw, Poland locations are to be further expanded.
