Tamper Technologies launches new line of tamper-evident tapes and labels for intralogistics

Derbyshire-based Tamper Technologies has announced the launch of its latest range of tamper-evident tapes and labels for intralogistics.

Tamper Technologies’ products are designed to provide an additional layer of security, helping companies to detect any tampering or attempted theft in their logistics processes.

The new offerings feature ‘a unique adhesive that leaves behind a visible mark when the tape or label is removed, making it easy to detect any unauthorised access to a package or container’. The tapes and labels are primarily intended for use in warehouses, distribution centres, and other logistics facilities where the security of goods is a top priority.

The firm’s products are also customisable, allowing companies to display their own branding and messaging on the tapes and labels.

Chief Executive of Tamper Technologies John Smith said: “Our new tamper-evident tapes and labels are a game-changer for the intralogistics industry.

“With the increasing incidence of theft and tampering, it’s more important than ever for companies to have a reliable way to protect their goods. Our tamper-evident solutions provide an extra layer of security that can help companies identify and prevent theft before it happens.”

Cargo crime is has become a huge problem for the logistics industry in recent years, costing the UK economy approximately £428 million in 2021, according to the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS). Issues like this are forcing supply chain companies to look for ways to prevent and reduce theft, which is likely to drive demand for products such as these.

Tamper Technologies (Stand i1003) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
