TNT expands Express Road Network in Eastern Europe

Four new countries in TNT’s Express Road Network
 

The Express Road Network of TNT Express in Europe is to be expanded to four more countries. As from now on liner services with regular departures from and to Albania, Macedonia, Belarus and the Republic of Moldova are available. The service transports documents and freight pieces with a maximum weight of 500 kilograms per piece. Albania and Macedonia are served by the location in Sofia. Warsaw is used as a hub for operations to and from Belarus. Consignments with destination or departures points in the Republic of Moldova are going via the hub in Bucharest.

According to the company’s own account TNT Express operates the largest integrated express road network in Europe. The system comprises 16 hubs and 415 depots and covers 39 nations in Europe and Morocco. With 750 trucks 640,000 documents, parcels and freight pieces are transported per week.
