Tuffnells and Go Green partner to reduce supply chain waste

National IDW carrier, Tuffnells, have appointed Go Green as its waste management provider for all 35 of its locations around the UK.

The partnership will support depot teams by delivering best-practice guidance on waste separation and landfill reduction, whilst also delivering cost savings through Go Green’s services.

Since the start of the partnership in June, Go Green’s Head of Sales, Paul Allen, and his team visited Tuffnells’ 33 operational depots, meeting with local Depot Managers to provide updated guidance. Each location has been provided with appropriate waste containers and bespoke signage, ensuring waste separation is optimised.

“Like all businesses, we have a responsibility to work towards a [more sustainable]future, and this partnership recognises the importance we attach to a long-term, comprehensive and sustainable waste management solution. Partnering with Go Green will help us to achieve our goals more quickly and provide a key next step in our approach to environmental sustainability,” said Chris Mansley, Network Risk Director at Tuffnells.
