Water-free van washing for DPD

DPD has appointed water-free car wash company Dropless.co.uk to clean the vehicles at its Westminster parcels depot.

Dropless, says it uses about two litres of a non-hazardous nano solution to break down and encapsulate dirt allowing it to be safely removed from the vehicle with micro-fibre towels. This saves up to 300 litres of water for every vehicle washed.

Mark Wilkes, DPD’s director of technical services said: “Our electric vehicles are really eye-catching and have been making heads turn in the capital, so it is important that they always look great. But they also need to be out on the road all day. Dropless offers us a smart, fast and accountable solution that keeps our vehicles working hard and looking fantastic.”
