Wincanton acquires CEL Group
Leading supply chain solutions provider, Wincanton, has yesterday announced the acquisition of the CEL Group, specialists in container logistics, establishing it as the leading container logistics provider in the UK with a 15% market share. The CEL Group consists of three trading companies: CEL (Logistics) Ltd., W Carter (Haulage) Ltd., and CEL (Engineering) Ltd. CEL provides UK-wide container haulage, storage and maintenance services, employs 470 people and operates a fleet of 370 vehicles.
