Wincanton expands location in Hamburg
Wincanton Fenthols, a 50%-holding of Wincanton GmbH in Fenthol & Sandtmann GmbH, expands the location in Hamburg. On a total area of 41,000 square metres a state-of-the-art hall for throughput of groupage cargo and a warehouse with offices are being constructed. The new premises will be ready for occupancy within the first three months of 2009. The modified terminal of Wincanton Fenthols in Hamburg-Billbrook consists of a 7,500 square metres hall for throughput and a 5,000 square metres logistics hall offering 10,500 storage positions and 2,500 square metres office space. The new groupage cargo hall provides 76 gates and is designed for around 1,300 tons of general cargo per day. The hall will be equipped with a comprehensive security package containing an alarm system, video surveillance and entrance control of licence numbers. Quelle: Österreichische Verkehrszeitung |
