Wine merchant snaps up Suffolk warehouse

Fine wine merchant Lay & Wheeler has taken the first unit at Pigeon Investment Management’s A14 roadside and logistics scheme near Wherstead in Suffolk.

The facility just off Junction 56 of the A14 totals 73,990ft2 and is part of a four unit development being built speculatively.

Work on the Lay & Wheeler unit will begin in the second half of 2022 with the rest completed in 2023.

The development known as Junction 56 is being marketed by Harwin Property and Piers Pollard.
