Work starts on K+N Brussels air freight hub

Work has started on Kuehne + Nagel’s new airfreight hub at BruCargo in Belgium.

The building is expected to be completed in 2020 and Kuehne + Nagel has signed a contract for 15,546 m² of warehouse space and 1,556 m² of office space to house Kuehne + Nagel Belgium’s main airfreight operations.

“With this important investment, Kuehne + Nagel confirms its choice for BruCargo and Brussels Airport as a key strategic location for its airfreight activities”, said Kuehne + Nagel Belgium’s airfreight manager Lennert Bosman

“The new facility will handle a diversity of commodities, with a strong focus on pharma & healthcare shipments thanks to 6,500 sq m of temperature-controlled area in full compliance with GDP standards and KN PharmaChain certified.”
