Air China Cargo added Frankfurt Hahn airport to its schedule

Boeing 777-200 freighter service of Air China Cargo connects Frankfurt Hahn and China three times weekly

Air China chose Frankfurt Hahn airport for a new freighter connection between the European Union and the People’s Republic of China. The airline will operate a special service from Shanghai via Hahn airport three times weekly.

The Thursday service ex Shanghai includes stopovers in Chicago and Frankfurt Hahn, before returning to China. On Mondays and Saturdays Air China flies from Shanghai via New York to Frankfurt Hahn and back. These routes are operated with Boeing 777-200F cargo jets, each offering air freight capacity for about 100 tonnes.

Air China is the national airline of the People’s Republic of China, with headquarters in Beijing. The airline operates a route network covering Asia, Australia, Europe and the Americas. In Germany, they serve Munich, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf with nonstop-flights.
