Dale Dairies seeks go ahead for 108,000sq ft DC

Dale Dairies has submitted a planning application to Bradford Council for a 108,000 sq ft dairy processing and distribution facility at the Aireworth Distribution Centre.

If given the go ahead, the facility would comprise more than 100,000 sq ft of storage and distribution space, with parking spots for 36 HGVs.

Currently, the site sought measures more than 126,379 sq ft of which 113580 sq ft is distribution space. However, under the proposals, Dale Dairies would seek to reduce the distribution space to 108,629 sq ft, through the demolition of existing buildings.

The distribution centre would be used for the collection of milk from farms, processing and packaging of dairy products, cold storage of dairy products, and distribution of dairy products.
