DB Schenker is the Life Ball-logistics partner for the seventh time
Like the seductive history of humanity has started in the Garden of Eden, Life Ball 2014 will start with the transportations of DB Schenker
Logistics planning for the Life Ball 2014 has started a few weeks ago. The place before and the interior of the city hall in Vienna will be decorated with a fanciful garden setting on May 31. The organisers of the major event and DB Schenker experts from Vienna are taking the respective arrangements. The canvas of a truck of the forwarding company will be decorated according to the motto “Adam & Eve“ this year.
More than ten DB Schenker trailer trucks, 2.40 metres high, with a total length of 13.60 metres, will carry theatre scenes, requisites and decoration to Rathausplatz in front of the city hall. These include stage sceneries from “Don Giovanni“ and “Parisian Life“. In addition, the forwarding company will take care about the decoration of the inner courtyard of the Vienna Hofburg. With plants, stones and turf rolls, the Schweizerhof will be turned into a fanciful garden for the Aids Solidarity Gala. Also a great number of costumes, tripods and flower decoration will be transported.
Life Ball is now relying for the seventh time on the logistics expertise of DB Schenker.
