New Innofreight transport solutions for the steel industry
New solution for the steel industry: InnoWaggon and steel pallets in service for the transport of blooms by order of voestalpine Stahl Donawitz
With a net additional load of 148 tons per double carriage at an empty weight of only 32 t, InnoWaggon presently is the most efficient waggon for the transport of blooms. The blooms are put on three steel pallets, the outer two are equipped with short stakes for freight safeguarding.
Innofreight will place additional pallet systems on the market this year, systems for the transport of hot-rolled coils are in preparation. This will make it possible to offer flexible logistics solutions for the steel industry, which are optimised with regard to the payload in question and which will use universally deployable container cars (InnoWaggons).
It is the aim of Innofreight Speditions GmbH with headquarters in Bruck an der Mur in Styria, to define a new logistics standard in rail cargo traffic for their customers with cutting-edge waggons and containers. International transports in bimodal traffic with special containers for bulk cargo using innovative loading- and unloading technology make up the core business of the company which is active in 14 European countries.
