60-minute doughnut delivery for Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme, the doughnut company, has chosen last mile delivery platform Stuart for a 60-minute delivery project in London.

Stuart integrates with Krispy Kreme’s web site enabling customers to order online for delivery within the hour.

The service has been launched as a pilot project, with the ambition of rolling it out nationally.

The Stuart system provides a geo-located courier model that provides an automatically allocated fleet of independent couriers, 60 per cent of which deliver goods via green vehicles including bikes and electric mopeds.

Emma Colquhoun, chief marketing officer at Krispy Kreme said: “We are all about putting smiles on our customers’ faces and our new doughnut delivery service now allows Krispy Kreme doughnuts to arrive at your door within the hour or as a scheduled delivery. Launching this service has also opened up a new gifting channel for the brand; making it as simple as a click of button to arrange doughnuts to be sent to your colleagues, friends or family.”
