Accenture buys Einr
Accenture has agreed to acquire Norwegian business consulting company Einr which provides high volume logistics solutions using SAP technologies.
The acquisition will further enhance Accentureâs SAP capabilities, helping it accelerate supply chain âreinventionâ for companies within the retail and consumer electronics industries.
Emma McGuigan, Senior Managing Director and Enterprise & Industry Technologies lead at Accenture said: âIn times of disruption, organisations need to reinvent their supply chains to meet rapidly changing customer expectations, grow and become more profitable.
âWith the acquisition of Einr, we will strengthen our SAP supply chain and logistics capabilities, which help our clients move to more responsive, resilient and sustainable supply chains.â
Adding, Per Steinsland, Managing Director of Einr AS said: âFor the past eight years, we have delivered high volume logistics, retail and supply chain management solutions that helped our clients transform and grow within their industries. Logistics Manager contacted Accenture to find out the value of the transaction but the company has declined to disclose the amount.
