Virani Foods expands contract with Knights of Old

Virani Foods, which produces ethnic ingredients, has signed a £1.5 million three year logistics contract with Knights of Old.

Knights will be adding warehousing and logistics to the distribution service that it has provided to Virani under an existing contract.

It will now be transporting over 15,000 pallets a year throughout the UK and storing over 1,200 in a new racking system, which was purpose built for Virani, at its Northampton depot.

Mark Russell, general manager of Virani Foods said: “We have such a strong relationship with Knights of Old and the two companies have grown together over the last 20 years. Supplying our customers with quality products can only be done using the best partners and Knights of Old has continued to support us by offering quality care and solutions for our supply chain.”
