A. Schneckenreither is the new chairman of “Fachverband Spedition”
Professional association for transport and logistics in the Austrian Economic Chamber to perform active work for the future of the industry with Alfred Schneckenreither
A new “frontman“ has been selected in the professional association for transport and logistics of the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO). KommR Alfred Schneckenreither, managing associate of the Schneckenreither international forwarding company, will be holding the function as the chairman of the representation of interests of Austria’s forwarders. He is succeeding Walter Mönichweger and passed his function in the forwarding and logistics professional association of the WKO Upper Austria (WKOÖ) to Josefine Deiser.
KommR Alfred Schneckenreither had managed the forwarding and logistics professional association of the WKO Upper Austria since 2000, for three function periods, with great commitment and success. He will still be a deputy of the chairwoman of the WKOÖ professional group and keep his functions in the executive committees of the WKOÖ division for transport and communication. Alfred Schneckenreither showed special commitment at the top of the section to the positioning and development of apprenticeships in the logistics and transportation sector. Since the beginning of his chairmanship Schneckenreither pursued also a clear process of strategic planning for the entire freight forwarding and logistics industry. With the Trendscouting Logistics 2020+ project Schneckenreither has initiated an important process for future competence in the industry.
The challenges of the industry such as further intensification of process automation in the context of logistics 4.0 and efficiency optimisations through logistics platforms continue to be processed in the network of the industry as well as with partners from other sectors of the economy and science for ideal development of the industry. This process of active trend and future work for the industry will also be a key goal for his new position at the head of the professional association, Alfred Schneckenreither announces.
KommR Josefine Deiser founded the Eurotrans Linz shipping company in 1989. Together with her husband, she has successfully managed Eurotrans and Eurokombi Speditionsgesellschaft m.b.H. with a focus on rail and combined transport for over 20 years. Since 2005, Ms. Deiser was engaged further in the representation of interests and as a section committee member, and as a professional association chairman-deputy since 2010 and has been committed to intensive youth development in the professional education and training, partnerships with educational institutions among others at the Jugend & Beruf trade fair as well as shaping the legal requirements for a practical apprenticeship examination. She shows also commitment to initiatives for practice-oriented legal framework, particularly in customs.
