ABB picks Carousel for logistics
ABB, the automation and power technologies company, has selected Carousel as a logistics partner within its UK Drives Business Unit.
Carousel is supporting ABB’s field engineer team using a tailored IT system developed for ABB by Carousel’s in-house team, to provide increased visibility and better control of parts throughout the logistics process.
The service incorporates flexible delivery options along with robust reverse logistics for total flexibility and efficiency.
David Phillips, customer support coordination manager at ABB Drives Business Unit commented: “From the very first few days with Carousel it was clear they had a unique approach and a completely different set of capabilities than we’d seen before.
