Arcese expanding in Germany

Thanks to the agreement with Panalpina Road Freight Deutschland, Arcese is expanding its activities in Germany, extending the range of groupage and part load services: the 19 Arcese offices in Italy and the 13 Panalpina branch offices in Germany will guarantee greater cover, considerably reducing transit times.

Giancarlo Bergianti, the Arcese Road Freight Director, is very satisfied with the new collaboration. “With its presence in high-interest merchandise sectors, Panalpina is a strategic partner for Arcese; together we shall be able to develop important synergies in both import and export. Parallel to the development in the sectors of logistics and full loads on the part of Arcese Kech in Germany,” continues Giancarlo, “this agreement actually forms part of the business strategies for the consolidation of groupage in Europe”.

Florian Zehetleitner, the Road Transport Director of Panalpina Deutschland, confirms the enthusiasm for the operation. “At Panalpina we work to offer an ever better service to businesses which entrust their products to us; and through the partnership with Arcese we are sure to advance in this direction”.

It is precisely the central position of the customer, together with excellence of service, which are among the values shared by both companies. “The objective we have set ourselves by the end of 2013,” concludes Giancarlo, “is to reach 100,000 shipments”.
