Caljan Rite Hite win national conveyor support contract with Hermes

Hermes has selected Caljan Rite-Hite as preferred support contractor for conveyor systems located across its nationwide network of depots.

The contract follows what Hermes described as a rigorous tender exercise, with incumbent Caljan chosen to supply national service support.

The maintenance contract covers approximately 36 mobile loaders, six fixed booms as well as various third-party line shaft conveyors at every site for two years.

Jacob Faulkner, procurement manager at Hermes Parcelnet, said: “Caljan were selected because of their pro-active approach. Their ability to provide truly national service support 24/7 at competitive rates and their willingness to listen to our specific support requirements tipped the scales.”
