CargoSmart launches sailing schedules app for iPhone
CargoSmart has announced the first sailing schedules iPhone application for shippers, logistics service providers and ocean carriers. CargoSmart’s sailing schedules app for iPhone enables on-the-go shipping professionals access multiple-carrier sailing schedules from their smartphones. CargoSmart’s SSM20 Lite is the first interactive smartphone application to manage critical ocean schedule information. The app allows customers look up sailing schedules by carrier, origin city and destination city search criteria. The search results show carriers, origin/destination cities, departure/arrival dates and transit times. Users can share schedule search results by e-mail and SMS with colleagues and customers directly from their iPhones. CargoSmart currently offers schedules from fifteen leading ocean carriers, and is expanding to offer more carriers‘ schedules.
