The Co-operative Group has chosen Jason McEwen to lead construction, refurbishment and retro fit projects to the trading, logistics and corporate estate.

McEwen previously worked as national investment delivery lead for the firm, before agreeing to accept this newly created role of portfolio, programmes and project delivery.

Earlier this year, The Co-operative Group announced plans to open 250 new stores of between 2,000sq ft and 4,000sq ft.
