Construction set to start at Bicester

Construction is to start at Axis J9, Albion Land’s 500,000 sq ft development at Bicester following planning approval by Cherwell District Council.

Development will take place in three phases. Phases One and Two phases will comprise five mid-sized units and eight smaller units respectively, ranging in size between 3,400 and 64,000 sq ft. Completion is due in mid 2020.

Phase Three will be built to match individual occupier requirements with units ranging from between 100,000 sq ft and 250,000 sq ft and will be available freehold or leasehold.

Simon Parsons, director, Albion Land said: “For Cherwell District Council to recognise the significance of Axis J9 to the local area means that we can speculatively start to develop phases 1 and 2, showing our further commitment to Bicester to provide workspace for businesses to grow and thrive.”
