Decrease in turnover of Müller – Die lila Logistik
Müller – Die lila Logistik AG stays in profit zone In the first half-year of 2009 Müller – Die lila Logistik AG (Besigheim/Germany) registered a considerable decline in demand for classic warehousing services, logistics value added services and transport services resulting from the global economic crisis. According to the recently presented half-year report, turnover showed a year-on-year decline of 17.7 per cent to EUR 37.8 million. Operating results were better than that – with EUR 1.35 million. The “Lila Operation“ division (procurement, production and distribution logistics) shows a turnover of nearly EUR 36 million and an EBIT margin of 3.3 per cent. The “Lila Consult“ division reported on a decline in turnover of 37.5 per cent to EUR 1.9 million. Müller – Die lila Logistik currently employs 966 persons at location in Germany, Austria (Graz), Slovakia, Poland and Belgium. |
