DPD Austria launches evening delivery for BIPA in Greater Vienna
DPD Austria – Austria’s leading private parcel service – now offers a new service to all customers of the BIPA perfumery chain in Greater Vienna: On request, online orders can be delivered between 5 pm and 8.30 pm.
“After a successful test phase, we will launch our evening delivery service for BIPA”, explains Rainer Schwarz, Managing Director DPD Austria. This gives BIPA online shop customers in the Vienna area a stress-free shopping experience. Orders can be made conveniently on the Internet, and DPD delivers the BIPA package on demand, when the customer is at home, which is often in the evening.”
For evening delivery, BIPA’s online shop customers can access DPD’s extensive range of parcel services. DPD PREDICT announces the three-hour delivery window in advance by e-mail. If the customer is still not at home, then they can flexibly determine where the shipment should be diverted to – eg. to a neighbour or whether the package should be delivered yet another day. A delivery to the desired BIPA branch is also an option.
In addition, customers can track their parcel in real time on the Internet using DPD’s live tracking, so they know exactly when the parcel arrives.
