Dura-Belt at LogiMAT

Dura-Belt is a manufacturer of a high-quality polyurethane power transmission belting, used mostly on line shaft and powered roller conveyors, as well as in other power transmission applications. We have been present on the worldwide market since 1987.

Dura-Belt manufactures urethane (PU) belting and conveyor components, including:

– O-ring round polyurethane belts,
– connectible twisted belts,
– V-belts,
– Polycord(R)-like rough green belts,
– Poly-Vee belts,
– energy efficient elastic flat belts up to 36" wide,
– Long-Life HT (High-Tension) belts and HEHT (Highly Elastic High Tension) belts for powered-roller conveyors with MDR zones up to 15 rollers long,
– Low Temperature ( up to -40oC) Hytrel belts,
– the Speedy Belt Installer, which lets one man install twisted belts three times faster,
– line-shaft spools & split spools, polyurethane spacers & sleeves,
– idler and drive pulleys,

Super Strong Welds – 2 years warranty:
With our proprietary RF welding process called Super Strong Weld (SSW™ welding technology), we are able to deliver you endless belts with up to 10 TIMES STRONGER weld joints than weld joints made with conventional belt joining process. That means our welds are very resistant to breaking — practically unbreakable welds. They are so strong that we provide the best warranty in the business – World’s Longest Belt Warranty – 2 full years. With our belts welded with SSW technology we will help you increase productivity and cut maintenance costs, by cutting downtime caused by broken belt joints.

Dura-Belt produces it’s belts out of 100% pure virgin PU, clear polyurethan. Regrind is waste urethane that is regularly ground up and added back to virgin urethane during extrusion. Urethane manufacturers recommend using regrind because it facilitates extrusion and improves weldability. Moreover, it cut costs. Unfortunately, the grinding process introduces impurities and breaks down long chain molecules; so regrind is an additive that virtually corrupts virgin urethane. It reduces a belt’s resiliency and its load carrying capability, and shortens its life. Our proprietary process lets us extrude 100% virgin urethane without using regrind, but nevertheless improves weldability. We are certain that our belts are more resilient, last longer and move heavier loads. Incidentally, we send our waste to a hose manufacturer.
