ELVIS launches cooperation with Teleroute
Europäischer Ladungs-Verbund Internationaler Spediteure ELVIS to integrate Teleroute Freight Exchange into its cargo portal
The European freight association of international forwarders ELVIS is to cooperate with Wolters Kluwer Transport Services (WKTS). On behalf of its new partner the association will integrate Teleroute Freight Exchange into the ELVIS cargo portal. WKTS is a provider of „On demand“ transport management software and services (TMSS). This new agreement with ELVIS brings WKTS closer to their aim of becoming a provider of automated solutions for the transport industry.
In the future cargo offers from ELVIS members in the portal that is exclusively accessible for partners of the network can be passed on after a certain time to the Teleroute Freight Exchange via a special port. This is free for members of ELVIS. This cooperation will add annually about 100,000 national cargo offers within Germany to the pool of Teleroute. Moreover a practical test of various new solutions by Wolters Kluwer Transport Services (WKTS) is on the schedule.
Teleroute has a double-benefit from this cooperationt: First, our customers now have more choice of attractive cargo offers, and second the number of users will increase, as Teleroute is also attractive for the about 100 network partners of ELVIS“, says Govert Versluis, Regional Manager North, East and Centraleurope of Wolters Kluwer Transport Services. Moreover the agreement showed „that we offer Teleroute our freight exchange, which is a very attractive and useful tool for transport, forwarding and logistics enterprises“. The cooperation starts with immediate effect.
