Ennshafen sets the course for future investments

Companies in the port of Ennshafen and the neighbouring communities form an advisory council to vote for the future economic development

The development of the port of Ennshafen into an industrial business park and a European logistics hub with trimodal transport connection to water, rail and highway resulted in the creation of a new advisory council a few days ago.

Dr. Michael Strugl, National Council for Economic Affairs, has invited to the first council meeting on Friday 30 January: „The open dialogue in the advisory council is to ensure a co-ordinated development and offer stakeholders a platform for their concerns,“ the politician explained.

In addition to the province of Upper Austria, the companies operating on the site, but also the neighboring communities Enns, Ennsdorf and Mauthausen are represented in the board. The platform is open, so that at any time, to new businesses can join.

The aim of the advisory council is good exchange of information and open discussion among the companies of the Ennshafen and their neighborhood. For example, new projects will be announced via the advisory council, allowing for an early involvement of all parties involved. The aim is to efficiently develop this business park which has significance for all over Austria and thus save and create jobs for the future.
