Four fight it out to develop West Midlands industrial site

Four commercial property developers are in the running to take on Birmingham’s largest single industrial site, the 180-acre Peddimore site on the eastern edge of Sutton Coldfield.

The shortlisted companies are IM Properties, Peel Logistics Property, Prologis and Bericote which is partnering with Tritax Big Box REIT.

The site was launched by Birmingham Council at MIPIM in March this year and could provide up to three million sq ft of space.

A final selection is expected by early 2018. GVA is advising Birmingham Council.
