Freightex rebrands as Coyote Logistics

Freightex, the European road freight operator bought by UPS last year, has been rebranded Coyote Logistics.

The company, which was founded in Dover in 2001, offers full truckload, LTL, refrigerated, and specialised road freight services.

Coyote Logistics, based in Chicago, became part of UPS in August 2015. It has been expanding its services globally over the past year and a half. After opening an office in Guadalajara, Mexico last year, Coyote had been planning to further expand its international footprint and was able to do so through UPS’s acquisition of Freightex, which has offices in the UK, Poland, and the Netherlands.

“As Coyote Logistics expands into Europe, we will do so as a single, unified brand,” says Coyote president Jonathan Sisler. “This will foster the continued growth of the strong culture, innovative technology, and commitment to service that helped us to succeed in North America. Every Coyote employee is a part of the same global team, motivated by the same values and vision.”
