G. Englmayer: Daily Italy service now also available for ADR goods

In early July, G. Englmayer Spedition GmbH expanded its range of transport services to Italy. In addition to the daily service Wels – Verona – Wels, they launched the daily service Wels – Monza (Milano) – Wels.

This new route will be operated using two semi-trailers, each with two drivers, in order to keep the transit as short as possible. Furthermore, both vehicles are equipped for ADR dangerous goods.

“Our owner-managed partner in Monza operates its own branch network in Italy with over 100 own locations. The company is considered the market leader for dangerous goods in Italy,” G. Englmayer informs in a press release.

For less than truck loads and full truck loads (LTL / FTL), the forwarding company based in Wels, Upper Austria, has a fleet of 25 semi-trailers, including megatrailers and coil troughs. Some of the vehicles come with two drivers to improve the transit time, while all of them are supported by telematics. The staff at the fleet management speaks Italian.

G. Englmayer celebrates its 160th anniversary in 2018. The development of the forwarding company is characterised by strong growth, especially in the countries of Eastern Europe. Today, the Englmayer Group employs more than 500 people, who process about 1.9 million shipments per year.
