Ground breaking on phase three Suffolk Park

Jaynic has broken ground on phase three of its warehouse development at Suffolk Park, Bury St Edmunds, to be built by contractor Parkway.

The development will comprise a 76,000ft2 warehouse pre-let to Hermes Parcelnet, together with a 160,000ft2 speculative warehouse to cater for the strong occupier demand in the region, both of which are due for completion in August 2022. These units form part of phase three of the 2.3 million ft2 Suffolk Park development.

Companies taking space at Suffolk Park to date include Weerts Group (Skechers), MH Star UK, Unipart Logistics, Treatt, Sealey and The East of England Ambulance Trust accounting for approaching 1.75 million ft2 of space.

Suffolk Park offers prospective occupiers bespoke buildings on a design and build basis alongside a rolling programme of speculative development.

It is located within one hour of the Port of Felixstowe, the UK’s largest container port dealing with 42% of Britain’s containerised trade. In 2015, it was ranked as the 37th busiest container port in the world and Europe’s sixth busiest.

Marketing agents for Suffolk Park are Hazells, Savills and Bidwells.
