Gymshark appoints DSV as global logistics partner
Fitness clothing manufacturer Gymshark has made Danish-founded DSV a global logistics and transport partner.
DSV will provide international multimodal transport solutions for the fitness wear brand, with Gymshark hoping that the partnership will support the company’s rapid growth. It expects that the addition of DSV to its logistics network will help it to meet growing international sales, complex supply chain requirements, and customer expectations.
Morten Landry, Managing Director of Air & Sea at DSV UK explained: “As Gymshark’s business grows, its supply chain requirements have become increasingly complex, placing additional emphasis on the need for robust logistics services.”
Landry adds: “DSV’s operational expertise, global capabilities, infrastructure and IT solutions will provide reliability and visibility across Gymshark’s entire supply chain.”
DSV will consolidate Gymshark’s shipments from manufacturers around the world under one forwarder, making use of distribution centres in the UK, Belgium, Australia, Canada, and the USA.
Gymshark’s Sourcing Director Zac Singh said: “We’re looking forward to an excellent working partnership with them as our global logistics and transport supplier.”
