Hellmann East Europe opens new office in Kaluga, Russia

Hellmann East Europe starts up new office in Kaluga to enhance its commitment to Russia’s automotive industry:

Hellmann East Europe added a new station to its network. The enterprise has opened an office in Kaluga, Russia. In addition to St. Petersburg, Nishni Novgorod and Nabareschnye Chelny/Elabuga, the group has now also its own presence in the fourth, big automotive cluster in Russia, as they announce in a press release. Moreover in Russia they operate also locations in Moscow, Moscow-Sheremetjevo, Smolensk, Jekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.

The new branch in Kaluga improves Hellmann East Europe’s local presence and the relations to customers. At its new location the enterprise offers worldwide procurement and customs clearance, as well as distribution services. Customers can profit from the worldwide Hellmann network and targeted solutions for the automotive segment.

In the past three years Hellmann East Europe has opened four locations in Ukraine, three in Lithuania, one each in Latvia, Estonia, Byelorussia and Azerbaijan and now locations N° eight in Russia. Moreover the enterprise runs six locations in Germany. This year more offices shall be opened in central Asia. The 350 employees generated a turnover at EUR 50 million in 2010. In the current financial year the enterprise aims at achieving EUR 70 million.

Groupage transport on the road, by air and ocean freight within the worldwide network of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, contract logistics and customs handling form the core activities.
